A private ambulance service in Slough is seeking an Emergency Care Assistant to transport and assess patients. The role requires a FREC 4 qualification and a minimum of 6 months frontline experience. Candidates must have excellent interpersonal skills and a full UK driving licence. You will drive emergency vehicles and provide high-quality care in various situations. This full-time position is a self-employed role; the successful applicant must manage their own tax payments.

The Emergency Care Assistant role involves you being exposed to a variety of patient of patient facing environments, both on the frontline and event medical services. You will be responsible, along with your crewmate, for responding to emergency and non-emergency situations whilst ensuring patients receive high quality, compassionate care at all times. When working with a patient transport attendant, you will act as a senior team member taking on the responsibility of clinical procedures as well as your crewmate. Spark Medical understands the importance of developing staff skillset, offering support with CPD events, ambulance driver training and annual Basic Life Support or Immediate Life Support to committed staff members.
