Senior Mammography Lead & Imaging Educator
Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in Greater London is seeking a Band 8a Lead Mammographer to oversee and manage the mammography services at North Middlesex University Hospital. The role involves performing mammograms, training staff, and collaborating with medical teams to provide high-quality care. Ideal candidates must hold a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography and have at least 3 years’ experience in mammography. This full-time position offers a salary of £61,631 - £68,623 per annum, with closing date for applications on January 28, 2026.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years postgraduate experience in mammography.
- Ability to perform stereotactic/tomography biopsies.
- Experience in managing equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform mammograms including advanced imaging procedures.
- Supervise and train mammographers.
- Collaborate with radiologists in clinical decision-making.
