Job summary
A leading manufacturer of specialist vehicles located in Glasgow is seeking a Materials Handler to join their Pre-Production department. This role involves the accurate movement and tracking of parts and materials, including unloading, and checking parts. Candidates must have experience in warehouse environments, knowledge of ERP systems, and a counterbalance forklift licence. - Previous experience in a stores/warehouse environment is essential.
- Proven knowledge in the use of ERP systems is required.
- Excellent attention to detail is necessary.
Responsibilities
- Check parts received and prepare documentation.
- Locate parts accurately in designated bin locations.
- Pick build kits in line with pre-production plans.
- Charge out parts accurately for in-house customers.
- Investigate stock discrepancies.
- Replenish pre-production consumables.
- Participate in stock counts.
