Job summary

A leading facilities maintenance provider is seeking a skilled multi-trade professional for a maintenance role based in Glasgow. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including carpentry, plumbing, and preventive maintenance. The ideal candidate should have experience in building repairs and qualifications in relevant trades. A full UK driving licence is preferred for inter-site travel, as well as an ability to work independently and manage workload efficiently. This position offers competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-trade experience in building repairs and maintenance.
• Skilled in at least two trades, carpentry/joinery or plumbing.
• Good understanding of site safety and safe working practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience working in retail or commercial properties.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance calls.
• Operate safely at height with appropriate equipment.
• Liaise with contractors and management to complete works.
• Maintain tools and work areas to high cleanliness standards.
• Comply with health and safety legislation and risk assessments.
