With experience in wiring, and building electrical assemblies you’ll be performing manufacturing tasks in accordance with engineering drawings to the required quality.The roles are based out of our Glasgow manufacturing site. You will work a 4 day week Monday to Thursday and work 9.25 hours per day. Start time is flexible between 6:00am and 7:30am and you get 30 minutes unpaid for lunch. There is also free on-site parking and an on-site canteen.What you’ll do…* Ensure all incidents are logged correctly and escalated to H&S leaders as appropriate.* Escalating Health and safety issues to the Work Cell Manager.* To perform complex Manufacturing operations in accordance with the associated documentation provided to the quality standards expected in a timely and professional manner.* To adhere to the defined Company processes when carrying out all tasks* Performs self-assessment and approval of products* To input and support any continuous improvement actions being worked on within Industry* To be able to detect any fault or non-compliance and if necessary raise the alert. In addition when able should contribute to diagnostics and the finding of the cause/root analysis* To manage and record build configuration of product* To use the company tools (ERP, Palma etc.) when carrying out product assembly tasksWhat you’ll need…* Experience in wiring* Ability to perform complex electrical operations involving wiring and component soldering to IPC standards* Experience building electrical assemblies* The ability to interpret drawings and wiring diagrams* Eligible to obtain full SC clearance.#LI-AH1In line with Thales' Baseline Security requirements, candidates will be asked to provide evidence of identity, eligibility to work in the UK and employment and/or education history for up to three years.
