We're looking for an R&D lawyer to support a large NHS Trust for 6 months.

You’ll be joining a small team of R&D lawyers and will be supporting with Oncology R&D‑related legal matters. Your role will include:

• Working with professors, researchers, patients, pharma companies and grant‑giving funds on the legal side of oncology‑related matters
• Developing broad and varied experience across cutting‑edge technology such as AI, and in the development of new drugs for oncology
• Working closely with the team to allocate funding effectively for new research
• Ensuring compliance in a heavily regulated legal world
• Dealing with ad‑hoc legal queries related to the above

Ideally you’ll have prior experience in R&D from a pharma or life‑sciences background or other regulated background. This assignment is full‑time; we could also consider 3 or 4 days, with some office presence in Cambridge. It is due to start in January and is expected to run for 6 months.
