Job summary
A global engineering firm is seeking a Principal Process Engineer in Aberdeen City. This role involves providing technical expertise, resolving engineering issues, and ensuring adherence to procedures for design integrity. Ideal candidates should have a BEng or equivalent qualification, alongside extensive relevant experience. Strong interpersonal and team building skills are essential. The position requires a proactive and flexible attitude towards work within a dynamic team environment.

Provide technical expertise to the contract.
Resolve process related engineering issues by applying accepted principles, codes and standards.
Adhere to procedures to assure technical integrity of process designs.
Provide support for interdisciplinary considerations through attendance at required design reviews and undertaking inter discipline checking.
Maintain own knowledge and understanding to meet competence requirements of Principal Process Engineer.
Provide feedback on lessons learnt to aid in continuous improvement.
Utilise software tools in design development and checking as required (e.g., Hisys).
- Minimum Experience: Demonstrable balance of industrial and management experience at relevant level and position. Role-Specific Skills: Intellectually capable, can substantiate the ability to apply theory in a practical context. Capable use of discipline software and proactively encourage development.
- Professional demeanour, strong interpersonal skills. Able to demonstrate team building skills and capable of influencing people at all levels of the organisation. Enthusiastic, conscientious, and keen to learn. Flexible with a can-do attitude.
BEng or equivalent professional qualification or HND or equivalent with extensive relevant experience. Knowledge, skills, and experience:
