About the role

Ready to shape the future of major programmes? Join us as a Project Planner where your expertise will drive project outcomes, helping us deliver on time and within budget.

You’ll be at the heart of our major programmes, working closely with stakeholders to define project scope, set clear milestones, and ensure activities are organised for success.

What you’ll be doing
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive project plans, integrating contractor schedules, and collaborating with project managers and quantity surveyors.
  • Evaluating contractor programmes, providing expert analysis on logic, technical details, and risks, and supporting schedule risk and opportunity assessments.
  • Creating detailed management reports and trackers to monitor progress and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Supporting risk management by contributing to risk, issue, and opportunity registers, and working alongside the Project Risk Engineer and commercial team.
About you

You’re a natural collaborator with a keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Your ability to communicate clearly and build strong relationships will set you up for success in this fast‑paced environment.

Key requirements & experience
  • Proven hands‑on experience leading planning for large and complex projects.
  • Working knowledge of Portfolio, Programme, Project, and Quality Management, as well as Quantification, Costing, Risk, and Stakeholder Communication.
  • Driving license and willingness to travel across our portfolio.
  • It would be advantageous to hold one of the following: APM Project Management (PMQ), PMI Scheduling Professional (PMI-SP) or PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (PMI‑CAPM).
