Daleview is a regional low secure forensic environment which can provide accommodation to 10 males with a learning disability. The regional component reflects that the unit is funded by the Four Health board areas that form the learning disability, Managed Care Network, NHS Borders, NHS Forth Valley, NHS Fife and NHS Lothian. Currently we have an exciting opportunity for a highly enthusiastic individual to undertake the role of Activity and Therapeutic Support Worker.

Daleview is looking for an Activity and Therapuetic support worker to plan , organise and deliver a programme of activities in-house and within the community. We are searching for someone who is creative and resourceful,a trauma informed practitioner and will be a strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills. The applicant will feel confident in providing a wide range of activities to interest and stimulate the physical and mental wellbeing of this patient group. They will understand the need of promoting the philosophy of social inclusion and independence in order to motivate, guide and engage patients in activity programmes using risk focused approaches

Hours of work are: Full and Part-Time Hours Available across seven days.
