Qualifications

• Significant experience in a similar field.
• Previous experience of managing/supervising staff.
• Experience in NHS setting.

Responsibilities

• Manage porters role on a day to day basis.
• Use the Health roster system for staff management.
• Liaise with portering management on equipment maintenance.
• React to emergency requests promptly.

Skills

Good communication skills including the ability to use tact and persuasion

Ability to deal with Portering related non‑routine activities

Work well in a team

Education

Good Basic Education (to include English and Maths)

NVQ 3 leadership qualification or equivalent experience
