MYAA, a global leader in innovative architecture, invites applications for an experienced Project Architect to join our creative team.

Based strictly on-site in our Barcelona or London office, you’ll lead the design and delivery of large-scale, mixed-use projects, contributing to impactful global developments in a collaborative environment.

Job Overview:

As an Architect, you will serve as a key coordinator in the design and delivery of large-scale, design-led architectural projects. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to high-impact global developments within a collaborative, creative, and multidisciplinary environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and exceptional coordination skills across all phases of the architectural process—from concept design to construction documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and coordination of architectural interiors for large-scale, mixed-use global projects.
• Oversee all project stages, with a strong focus on Detail Design and construction package development.
• Direct and collaborate with internal project teams, consultants, and clients to ensure delivery of high-quality design solutions.
• Produce and review technical documentation and detail drawings to meet project requirements and industry standards.
• Coordinate material selection, specification writing, and integration of design standards.
• Maintain rigorous quality control throughout the design and construction documentation process.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks (UK or local, depending on project location).
• Communicate clearly and professionally in both verbal and written English.
• Travel as required to support project delivery and coordination.

Experience & Qualifications:

• Professional degree in Architecture.
• 3–5 years of post-qualification experience in design and architectural coordination roles.
• Proven experience leading the delivery of complex, mixed-use international projects.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence and detailing.
• Experience developing design across all project stages, particularly in detail design and construction documentation.
• Strong technical knowledge, with the ability to develop and resolve construction details.
• Deep understanding of design processes across all RIBA stages or equivalent international frameworks.
• Confident team leadership and project coordination capabilities.
• High level of proficiency in English (spoken and written).
• Methodical, detail-oriented, and highly organised approach.
• Strong sense of accountability and responsibility.
• Team-oriented with a proactive, collaborative attitude.
