A local NHS Trust in Chorley is looking for a Domestic Services Team Leader to supervise a team of domestic assistants, ensuring high cleanliness and hygiene standards. Responsibilities include managing cleaning schedules, implementing infection control procedures, and compliance with health and safety standards. Ideal candidates should have NVQ Level 3 in supervisory management and substantial experience in large-scale cleaning organizations. This position offers 24 hours per week with varying late shifts.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Domestic Services Team Leader to join our established Estates and Facilities Team here at Southport Hospital
A Domestic Team Leader at Southport Hospital oversees a team of domestic assistants to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety are maintained throughout the facility.
They are responsible for implementing infection control procedures, managing cleaning schedules (including deep cleaning), ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, and managing stock levels.
24 hour per week, various late shifts including weekend on a two week rota.

Providing adult community services for St Helens and a wheelchair service in Chorley, South Ribble, and West Lancashire. Our inpatient unit at Newton Community Hospital is where patients needing acute hospital beds can continue rehabilitation, freeing up space for more unwell patients. We also provide urgent care at our Urgent Treatment Centre located in St Helens town centre.
Specialist Regional Services
We provide the Mersey Regional Burns & Plastic Surgery Unit at Whiston Hospital and the Spinal Injuries Unit at Southport Hospital to more than 4 million people across the whole of Merseyside, West Lancashire, Cheshire, Isle of Man and North Wales.
