Cook delicious, healthy and nutritious meals for people in the care home and ensure a positive dining experience that promotes nutritional intake, social interaction, and community.
- Preparing, cooking and serving food
- Understanding people’s needs, likes and choices to develop suitable menus
- Interacting with the people we support to get feedback on meals
- Complying with food hygiene standards
- Completing relevant checks and maintaining records
- Being a great team player, working as part of the wider Catering Team
- A cook with a flair for creating delicious and nutritious meals for varied dietary requirements

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Food hygiene certificate and a relevant catering qualification are desirable but not required
