We are seeking a reliable and experienced Gas Engineer to carry out installations, servicing, breakdowns, and repairs across a range of domestic properties. The successful candidate will be Gas Safe registered and committed to delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Carry out gas boiler installations, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer instructions and regulations.
- Diagnose and repair faults in gas appliances and heating systems.
- Perform landlord gas safety checks (CP12) and issue certificates.
- Install, commission, and maintain gas appliances (boilers, cookers, fires, etc.).
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
- Ensure work complies with current Gas Safe and Building Regulations.
- Complete all relevant documentation and digital reports accurately and on time.
- Maintain safe working practices and adhere to health and safety procedures.
- Manage own van stock and maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
- Gas Safe Registered (with up-to-date certification).
- ACS Qualifications (CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, etc.).
- Proven experience in domestic gas engineering.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- LPG or Commercial Gas qualifications (if applicable).
- Experience working with smart thermostats and heating controls.
- ASHP.
