LNG Quantitative Analyst - Modeling & Valuation
Job summary
A global energy company is seeking an experienced Quantitative Analyst to optimize and value LNG deals. The role requires a Master’s degree in a quantitative field and at least 5 years of experience in a trading environment. Proficiency in Python and C++ is essential, alongside excellent analytical and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of energy markets is preferred. The company is committed to diversity and inclusion, and does not consider relocation for this role.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantitative Analyst in a trading environment.
- Good understanding of optimization principles, probability, and financial concepts.
- Ability to communicate model outputs clearly and concisely.
Responsibilities
- Implement and support existing and new models/tools for LNG deals optimization.
- Deliver high-quality code and review existing code.
- Provide relevant quantitative analyses for commercial decision-making.
