Senior Subsurface Geoscientist – Well Decommissioning
Job summary
A leading subsurface consultancy is seeking a Lead Geoscientist to provide technical support for subsurface projects and support well decommissioning initiatives. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in the oil and gas sector, particularly with well decommissioning. This role requires strong project management, communication, and organisational skills. Located in Aberdeen with possible visits to other sites, this permanent position offers the chance to lead in a pivotal role within the company.
Qualifications
- Minimum ten years’ experience in oil and gas as a subsurface professional.
- Five years’ experience in Well Decommissioning projects.
- Self-starter with excellent organisational skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for subsurface services and projects.
- Engage with clients to develop tailored solutions.
- Support the Subsurface and Well Engineering teams.
