AM and PM; primarily Monday to Friday with some weekend availability.
Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Operative, where you will load and unload trailers, accurately pick orders and utilise hand scanners to manage stock. This role requires physical fitness, meticulous attention to detail and a focus on safety in a dynamic environment.
- Monday to Friday (most)
- Day shift 6 AM – 7 PM: Basic Pay £14.89
- Twilight shift 7 PM – 10 PM: Pay £16.50
- Night shift 10 PM – 6 AM: Pay £16.83
- Overtime after 39 hours: £22.35 per hour
- Bank holidays/Sundays: £29.79 per hour
Good understanding of English for a 2‑hour Health & Safety training.
- Safely and efficiently load and unload trailers.
- Utilise hand scanners for precise order processing.
- Sort and store goods with care.
- Prepare pallets for dispatch.
- Verify goods against delivery notes for accuracy.
- Uphold cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Previous experience loading/unloading trailers or heavy goods preferred.
- Comfort with hand scanners essential.
- Physically fit for manual tasks.
- Reliable, team‑oriented with basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Prior warehouse/logistics experience a plus.
