Job summary
A local school in the UK is seeking a committed individual to join their premises team. The role involves plumbing installations and general maintenance, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for students and staff. The ideal candidate will help with various tasks, from minor repairs to supporting events. A full DBS clearance and references are required for this position, which requires 37 hours of work per week, promoting a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
- Experience in plumbing installation and maintenance.
- Able to carry out minor repairs and decorating.
- Willingness to assist facilities and cleaning teams as needed.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the school site is safe and well maintained.
- Carry out plumbing repairs and general maintenance duties.
- Assist during school events and set-up in classrooms.
Skills
We are looking for a flexible, committed person with a range of skills to join our experienced premises team.
The successful candidate will take pride in ensuring the school site is safe, well maintained and fit for purpose for students, staff and visitors at all times. The role will primarily involve carrying out plumbing installation, repairs and maintenance across the school site, alongside a range of general maintenance duties such as minor repairs, decorating and supporting the set-up of classrooms, exam halls and school events. You will also assist the facilities and cleaning teams when required, helping to maintain high standards across the site using appropriate equipment and materials.
Full DBS clearance and satisfactory references will be required.
This contract is for 37 hours per week.
