A technology-driven manufacturing company located in Manchester is seeking a Lead EICA Engineer to take technical ownership of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation systems. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, providing technical leadership, and ensuring safe operations. Candidates should possess a Level 5 qualification in Engineering and relevant experience with EICA systems. We are seeking a Lead EICA Engineer to take technical ownership of Electrical, Instrumentation, Control and Automation systems across our manufacturing site. This is a key leadership role within the Engineering team, supporting operational reliability, continuous improvement and future modernisation projects.
The Lead EICA Engineer will provide technical leadership and hands‑on expertise to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operation of site‑wide EICA systems. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, HSE, Planning and Maintenance teams, you will play a central role in maintaining high equipment uptime while driving improvement initiatives.
In addition to technical responsibilities, the role includes mentoring and guiding junior engineers and apprentices, contributing to day‑to‑day departmental leadership and supporting the strategic development of control and instrumentation standards across site.
