The role

As a Senior Cost Engineer, you’ll have a role that is out of the ordinary. You’ll provide vital cost engineering support across high-profile projects that underpin national energy security and defence. Day-to-day, you will

• Manage project controls and earned value processes
• Handle resourcing applications for payments
• Support subcontract management activities
• Collaborate with commercial, procurement, planning, and engineering teams
• Provide cost engineering support for complex projects

This is a permanent position, working 37 hours per week, based in Warrington, Cheshire. Hybrid working patterns are available, with a minimum of three days in the office per week.

Essential experience of the Senior Cost Engineer:

• Awareness of P6 or Risk Hive
• Experience with systems and cost capture
• Risk awareness and planning capability
• Strong IT proficiency, including Excel and SAP
• Proven experience in cost engineering

Qualifications for the Senior Cost Engineer:
