To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all.## Job Description**Join us a Electrical Engineer** **Contract/Staff Position****Your Future Team:**The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority, the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. Supporting nuclear facilities & the delivery of services across both Client Sites near Helensburgh.**Your Missions*** Manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.* Handle design changes/concessions.* Present Design substantiations to safety committees.* Develop EIMT Schedule, procedures, and results.* Produce Periodic Review of Safety reports.* Advise internal and external stakeholders.* Conduct Independent Technical Review.* Apply engineering knowledge to nuclear/high-risk environments.* Justify civil/structural design modifications.* Review reports and safety submissions.* Check and review calculations and technical documents. Join us and help shape the future! * Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment* Theoretical and practical skills across concept, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects.* Experience in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazards.* Authoring technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high hazard industries.* Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input.* Experienced in regulated environments.* Familiarity with safety case development techniques like HAZID/HAZOP studies.* Worked in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defense), especially in safety-related structures, systems, and components.We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
