Job summary

A leading construction firm is seeking ambitious Graduate Civil Engineers to contribute to site operations and technical delivery on major projects. Ideal candidates will have a Civil Engineering degree with at least a 2:1 and less than 12 months of experience. This role offers a structured 15-month graduate programme focused on developing essential skills for a successful career in civil engineering.

Completion Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 quarterlyreports completed and signed
  • Continuous ProfessionalDevelopment (CPD) records to be signed off by your professional reviewersuch as a Delegated
  • Engineer, Counsellor orsimilar
  • Approval for completionby yourprofessional reviewer

As a Graduate Civil Engineer you will be responsible for akey element of work on a project taking a significant role in technicaldelivery as well as managing aspects of time, cost and quality and will acquiretechnical, leadership and project management skills and experience.

Role Requirements:

  • Assisting with themanagement of site operations, to ensure safety, quality, costeffectiveness, timely production and customer satisfaction
  • Planning and sequencingof operations, including writing method statements and risk assessments,and procuring sub-contractor, labour, plant and material resources
  • Briefing teamsImplementing operational quality control including setting out and QAprocesses
  • Prepare technicaldrawings, calculations, and construction documentation under supervision.
