Hitachi Rail manage the Connect telecoms network on behalf of Transport for London. Connect is the operational telecoms system for the London Underground; it is critical to the operation of the Underground network.
The Hitachi team manage a portfolio of projects, large and small, to upgrade, alter and extend the Connect network. We are looking to appoint a new Project Engineering Manager to support the delivery of this portfolio.
As Project Engineering Manager, you will manage a team of Project Engineers delivering site installation, testing and commissioning works for a range of telecoms projects. The team is responsible for planning all aspects of the site works, including arranging access and authority to work, assigning engineers and managing the deployment of assets on site.
This role is based at Waterloo working a minimum of two days per week from the office, in line with current SRS policy.
