Job summary

A leading finance support company in the UK is looking for a Finance Assistant to provide operational support to its Finance Team. This role involves ensuring compliance with company policies, processing vendor invoices, and assisting with balance sheet reconciliations. Ideal candidates should have a background in Accountancy or Business studies, along with practical finance function experience. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Practical experience of working in a finance function.
  • Practical experience of Accounts Payable function.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and internal controls.
  • Assist with processing vendor invoices accurately.
  • Support with balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Create PDF invoices for intercompany transactions.
  • Cover for other accounting teams during absence.
