A growing sports business is seeking a diligent Finance Assistant to manage day-to-day finance administration. You'll handle purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and VAT returns, ensuring accurate financial data. The role requires AAT qualification or studying, ERP system proficiency, and attention to detail. This position offers excellent progression opportunities into Assistant Accountant or Finance Executive roles as the business grows. Qualifications

  • AAT qualified or studying, or ACA / ACCA part-qualified (study support available).
  • Previous experience in finance administration, AP or AR role.
  • Confident using ERP system and Excel (lookups, pivots, basic formulas).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain supplier and customer records, post invoices and credits.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile expenses.
  • Prepare and submit monthly VAT returns maintaining clear supporting documentation.
