- Support live radio programmes – recording and editing audio.
- Meet with contributors and coordinate production coordination.
- Produce video for social media content and regional TV output.
- Create and craft audio for BBC Sounds.
- Attend learning blocks with industry‑accredited learning providers.

This scheme is aimed at non‑graduates.
- Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
- Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start.
- Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
- Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
- No prior learning is required to apply.
- For candidates under 19 years old on 8 September 2026, you must have achieved the required GCSE or equivalent qualifications; otherwise a Functional Skills Level 2 will be required before the end of the apprenticeship.
