Role Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Support live radio programmes – recording and editing audio.
  • Meet with contributors and coordinate production coordination.
  • Produce video for social media content and regional TV output.
  • Create and craft audio for BBC Sounds.
  • Attend learning blocks with industry‑accredited learning providers.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Be 18 years old or over by the time the apprenticeship begins in September 2026.
  • Have lived in the UK continuously for the last three years prior to the start.
  • Be legally eligible to work full‑time in the UK for the entire duration of the apprenticeship.
  • Not currently enrolled in another apprenticeship programme.
  • No prior learning is required to apply.
  • For candidates under 19 years old on 8 September 2026, you must have achieved the required GCSE or equivalent qualifications; otherwise a Functional Skills Level 2 will be required before the end of the apprenticeship.
