A dynamic electrical services firm based in Bristol is seeking someone for a Freelance Trial to Permanent Role. The candidate will handle operational control, ensuring smooth job flow and maintaining high standards. This role requires a commitment to a primary professional engagement and the ability to operate effectively in a remote-first setup initially. The anticipated salary upon permanent employment is between £26,000 and £30,000 annually, with additional benefits including 28 days of holiday.
This is a high-trust, high-responsibility role at the core of a fast-scaling business. MJP Electrical is building more than an electrical services company — we are building a platform, partner network, and operational engine with national ambitions. That requires exceptional standards, clean systems, and people who take ownership without being asked.
This role is designed for someone who wants responsibility early, not comfort. The position will begin as a freelance/self‑employed trial (6‑8 weeks), with a clear intention to move into a permanent employed role for the right person.
You will work closely with leadership and will be trusted with real operational control. Your decisions will directly affect customer experience, cashflow, and team performance.

You are the operational control centre.
Your responsibility is to ensure the business runs cleanly, predictably, and professionally — even as volume increases.
