• Lead complex corporate tax advisory projects, coordinating input from specialist teams
• Oversee compliance work and review technical advice prepared by the team
• Act as main point of contact for clients and HMRC, including strategic planning, risk management, and investigations
• Collaborate with audit and wider teams to deliver excellent client service
• Coach and mentor Assistant Managers and Managers, including performance reviews and professional development
• Support business development and identify growth opportunities with new and existing clients
• Contribute to technical knowledge-sharing through briefings, workshops, and published insights
• Ensure high technical standards and compliance with firm procedures and risk management policies
• Promote ESG initiatives, including wellbeing, community engagement, and environmental awareness

• CTA qualified (ACA, CA or ACCA an advantage) with significant post‑qualification experience in corporation tax compliance and advisory
• Skilled at interpreting tax legislation and explaining complex advice in clear, simple language
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Strategic thinker with commercial awareness and problem‑solving skills
• Interest in business development and leveraging growth opportunities through networking and client relationships
• Experienced in coaching and developing others, fostering an inclusive team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and tax software (Alphatax experience preferred)
