What you will do:

• Lead and support a team to ensure effective and efficient service delivery within the Referral and Assessment Team.
• Oversee and manage complex cases, ensuring that assessments and interventions are timely and of high quality.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to streamline service provision and drive positive outcomes for children and families.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff, delivering professional development opportunities.
• Uphold the standards of practice set by Social Work England, ensuring compliance and best practice across the team.

Requirements for the Assistant Team Manager role include:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in social work.
• Active registration with Social Work England.
• Recent managerial experience in a relevant capacity such as Team Manager, Deputy Team Manager, or Assistant Team Manager.
• Demonstrable frontline experience in Children’s Services in a leadership role.
