As a Support Worker, you’ll be part of a committed team helping adults with:
- Learning disabilities
- Mental health needs
- Autism
- Epilepsy
- Physical disabilities
- Challenging behaviour
Your day may involve:
- Supporting with personal care and administering medication
- Helping with cooking, cleaning and household tasks
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Providing social support and enabling community participation
- Attending team meetings and maintaining accurate records
- Encouraging independence and enhancing quality of life
You’ll work a variety of shifts, including early mornings (from 7:30am), evenings (until 10pm), weekends, and public holidays. Sleepovers and waking night shifts may also be required. Every second weekend off.
