You will lead a team, manage operations, and ensure compliance and quality service delivery. Strong electrical and mechanical qualifications are required. Responsibilities

• Manage agreed KPI and SLAs alongside the Supervisor.
• Arrange specialist sub-contractors.
• Manage all reports/site log books.
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and audit-ready.
• Attend client meetings as required.
• Perform lighting installations and fault-finding.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests.
• Maintain air conditioning AHUs/FCUs.
• Monitor and adjust BMS as needed.
• Ensure statutory compliance.

Lead Engineer City London - FM Service Provider £55,000 per annum

CBW is recruiting for a Lead Engineer to be based within a high‑profile commercial property in central London. The building has recently benefited from substantial investment, resulting in a modern, premium workspace designed around quality, efficiency, and occupant wellbeing.

As Lead Engineer, you’ll oversee a team of four engineers responsible for delivering exceptional maintenance and engineering services throughout the building. Working Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, you’ll take full ownership of service delivery, ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations, and maintain strong working relationships with occupiers across this flagship London site.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage agreed KPI and SLAs alongside the Supervisor
• Arrange specialist sub‑contractors
• Manage all reports / site log books (working with the Contract Manager & Supervisor)
• Ensure all paperwork is up to date and audit‑ready
• Attend client meetings as required
• Lighting (small installations, fault‑finding, lamping, etc.)
• Emergency lighting & fire alarm tests
• Air conditioning AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning)
• BMS monitor and adjust as needed (e.g., hot & cold calls)
• Statutory compliance

Hours

• Monday to Friday (40 hours/week)
• 08:00 to 17:00
• Overtime available
