Industrial Microbiology Placement – R&D Lab Experience
Job summary
A leading chemical solutions company in Manchester is seeking a Microbiology Placement Student for a 13-month fixed contract. The role involves supporting R&D projects related to the development of disinfection formulations, conducting efficacy testing, and participating in research programs. Candidates should be studying for a B.Sc or M.Sc in Biological Sciences or Microbiology, possess strong A-level results in Biology and Chemistry, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Training and supervision will be provided, offering valuable industrial experience.
Qualifications
- Studying for a degree in Biological Sciences or Microbiology.
- Strong A-levels in Biology and preferably Chemistry.
- Familiarity with laboratory practices and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of disinfection formulations.
- Execute research programs to understand Hygiene & preservation formulations.
- Maintain accurate records of work and findings.
