Laser Operator
Job summary
A leading laser engineering firm based in Merseyside is seeking an experienced Laser Operator to join their expanding team. The role involves operating Flat Bed Laser machines, understanding engineering drawings, and ensuring high workmanship standards. The position offers a salary of £28,600 and includes company benefits such as 20 days holiday, pension scheme, and health cashback options. Successful candidates will work in a rotating shift pattern including early, late, and night shifts.

- Operate and maintain a Flat Bed Laser cutting machine.

- Set and maintain high standards of workmanship.
Skills
Location: Knowsley, Merseyside Salary: £28,600 Hours of Work: 37hrs per week – 3 shift rotations 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm, 10pm-6am
5750 Components Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Laser Operator to join our busy and expanding laser engineering team based in Merseyside.
- Must have previous experience as a Flat Bed Laser Operator, Trumpf or Bystronic an advantage
- Must be able to read and understand engineering drawings
- Knowledge of different metals an advantage
- Able to set and maintain a high standard of workmanship
- Able to work pro-actively and as part of a team to improve productivity and efficiency
