Job summary
A leading motorsport organization in the United Kingdom seeks a meticulous Tyre Technician for their Hypercar Programme. The role involves managing all tyre operations with exceptional accuracy and collaborating with engineering teams to ensure peak performance. Candidates should have experience in high-level motorsport and possess strong communication skills. This full-time position may include global travel, requiring a disciplined approach under pressure.
Qualifications
- Previous tyre tech experience in high-level motorsport (WEC, ELMS, GT, F1, FE).
- Ability to deliver exceptional consistency under time pressure.
- Understanding of tyre behaviour, degradation and performance fundamentals.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage allocation, rotation, storage and preparation of tyres.
- Set, adjust and validate pressures and temperatures accurately.
- Conduct tyre checks pre- and post-run, logging condition.
- Work with Strategy and Performance teams on tyre performance trends.
- Maintain heating equipment and safety standards.
