Qualifications

  • Experience in trades such as carpentry, plastering, painting, electrical, plumbing, or restoration.
  • Proficient in IT, including email and calendar usage.
  • Basic knowledge of construction necessary.
  • Exemplary and efficient customer service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Attend pre-booked customer appointments to assess and rectify defects.
  • Provide timely feedback on defect status to coordinators.
  • Carry out customer pre-occupation works.
  • Maintain cleanliness in all work areas.
  • Ensure efficient completion of weekly timesheets and petty cash forms.

A little bit about the role...

Weston Homes is seeking a professional and skilled Customer Care Technician to join our dedicated Customer Service team. To assist the team in the delivery of timely repair and/or restoration of defects to a high-quality standard and specification, whilst maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism in every interaction. You will be the primary on-site technical representative for the customer care process.

Responsibilities
  • Professional and timely attendance at pre-booked customer appointments to assess defects and rectify where possible
  • Effective and timely feedback to coordinators and calendar updates; nature of defect, whether completed/outstanding, whether recall of sub-contractor required and/or materials required
  • Professionally carry out customer pre-occupation/home acceptance works as required
  • Professionally maintain high standard of finish/cleanliness in all works carried out whether a customer property, communal area, sales centre or stock unit
  • Efficient cleanliness of tools, equipment and vehicle and ensure tools/materials are collected prior to relevant works
  • Effectively feedback to the team on customer issues and further processing
  • Timely and efficient completion and return of weekly timesheets & petty cash forms
Qualifications
  • Trade experience within all or any of the following: Carpentry/Plastering/Painting/Electrical/Plumbing/Restoration
  • IT literate, including email & calendar organisation
  • Basic construction knowledge
  • To offer courteous, exemplary and efficient customer service at all times
  • Evidence an ability to self-motivate, be organised and be committed to delivery against clearly defined targets.
