Job summary

A leading entertainment company in the United Kingdom seeks experienced Stage Managers to oversee stage operations during productions at sea. This role requires relevant experience in stage management, including building stage sets and operating automation systems. The contract lasts a minimum of 6 months, offering competitive pay, meals, and accommodation. Valid STCW certification is required, and the company promotes diversity and inclusion in its hiring practices.

Qualifications

  • Stage management qualification and/or relevant professional experience in a similar role at sea, professional theatre, or touring environment.
  • Experience building and maintaining stage sets, scenery and props.
  • Experience operating and maintaining stage automation control systems and aerial performer flying systems.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of scenery, props and operate stage automation and performer flying controls.
  • Lead the backstage team together with the Entertainment Technical Manager.

Skills

Stage management qualification

Basic sound and lighting operation
Basic IT and computer skills
