Job summary
A leading estate agency in Rochford is seeking a Customer/Business Support and Compliance team member to ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good communication skills, and an ability to work calmly under pressure. Responsibilities include maintaining due diligence standards, assisting with compliance processes, and supporting senior colleagues. This is a full-time role with competitive benefits, including 33 days of paid holiday.

Our welcoming Customer/Business Support and Compliance department are seeking a candidate to join our small and friendly team. This varied and stimulating role needs a flexible and enquiring mind, a high degree of focus, diligence and accuracy and a positive approach when speaking to customers and colleagues alike. 🗣️
- Maintaining high standards through checking that customer due diligence and enhanced due diligence has been fully completed to comply with Anti‑Money Laundering regulations, using both database reports and manual processes
- Discussing concerns and high‑risk situations with senior colleagues
- Assisting the department with additional compliance and administration processes and related business needs as required
- Answering calls in a calm, friendly and helpful manner
- An ability to work at pace and prioritise workload whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- A logical, open and inquisitive mind to establish facts and communicate concerns clearly and concisely
- Navigating internal and external databases with ease and speed, following initial training
- A flexible, enthusiastic approach to support changing priorities within the department
- Good communication skills with a helpful and positive attitude towards customers and colleagues
- Previous experience in a compliant focused role preferred
