Headquartered in Basel (Switzerland), Arxada employs 3,200 associates across 24 production sites and 14 R&D centers, all committed to our customers’ success.We are looking for a Senior Formulation Scientist that Independently design and conduct experiments to develop ideas, concepts, processes, hypotheses, and focus areas that lead to new products, formulations, or expanded application uses.Lead the formulation aspects of specific innovation pipeline management programs intended to create new and/or improved products, formulations, testing protocols, and/or processes.Provide technical support to EMEA Professional Hygiene customers in relation to formulation ingredients and non-biocidal performance attributes. Lead formulation development to develop robust technical information in the form of customer seminars, webinars and academies, reports of call, research/technical reports, presentations, product data sheets, and sales tools for new products in collaboration with the Global R&D and Marketing teams. Works within a team of Marketing, R&D and Regulatory Managers, Specialists and Professionals plus cross-functional project teams as needed in a matrix organization. Helps to identify and leverage opportunities to develop positions for substances and innovative solutions which are new to Arxada.Develop a broad internal understanding of competitor and customer products in order to assist in the development of robust Value Propositions and Product Positioning for Arxada product/solutions, inclusive of experimental testing needs, design, and application.
