Electronic Systems Engineering Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and expert Electronic Systems Engineering Manager with a strong background in digital and analogue electronics and embedded software development. This role is critical in leading the design, integration, and validation of sophisticated electronic systems for our innovative products.
Responsibilities
- Lead development team in system‑level design and architecture of embedded electronic products integrating digital, analogue, and software components.
- Develop detailed system specifications, requirements, and interface definitions in collaboration with team members.
- Design, simulate, and verify digital and analogue circuits for performance, reliability, and compliance.
- Develop and debug embedded software/firmware in C/C++ for microcontrollers and real‑time operating systems (RTOS).
- Integrate hardware and software subsystems, ensuring efficient performance and system‑level functionality.
- Participate in DFMEA, design reviews, and regulatory compliance (EMC, safety standards).
- Work closely with multi‑functional teams (mechanical, manufacturing, quality) to transition designs into production.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
- Define and implement product validation and verification plans to ensure designs meet performance, safety, and reliability requirements.
- Develop test procedures, test cases, and validation tools for functional, environmental, and compliance testing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–10 years of relevant proven experience in a systems engineering role.
- Strong hands‑on experience in digital and analogue circuit design, including ADCs, DACs, op‑amps, power supplies, and signal conditioning.
- Expertise in embedded software development using C/C++ and experience with common toolchains (Keil, GCC, IAR, etc.).
- Experience with real‑time systems, RTOS, communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN, Ethernet), and debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
- Shown experience in system integration, product validation, and multidisciplinary development environments.
- Familiarity with PCB design tools (Altium, OrCAD, KiCad) and simulation tools (LTspice, MATLAB/Simulink).
- Excellent problem‑solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with wireless communication (BLE, Wi‑Fi, LoRa, etc.).
- Knowledge of ISO 60079 (particularly design for intrinsically safe environments), or similar safety‑critical development standards.
- Background in product development for medical, automotive, aerospace, or industrial automation sectors.
