About the Role

We’re looking for an inspiring Curriculum Leader to join our team in the North East. In this pivotal role, you’ll lead a team of Engineering Trainers and Apprenticeship Skills Coaches, ensuring the delivery of an innovative and robust curriculum. You’ll monitor learner progress, maintain quality standards and work closely with employer partners to support apprentices from start to assessment.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead and manage a team of trainers and skills coaches.
  • Monitor, track and report on learner progress.
  • Develop high‑quality teaching materials aligned with apprenticeship standards.
  • Support curriculum planning and continuous improvement.
  • Provide career advice and guidance throughout the learner journey.
  • Drive innovation in teaching, learning and assessment.
What We’re Looking For
  • Full teaching qualification and assessor qualification (TAQA L3 or equivalent).
  • Significant experience in education (F.E., H.E. or apprenticeships).
  • Qualified to a minimum Level 3 in Engineering.
  • Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate teams and learners.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards and assessment requirements.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel.
Desirable

IQA qualification, engineering industry expertise and degree‑level qualifications.
