A prominent healthcare organization in Glasgow is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join their paediatric service. You will manage and deliver specialized care for children and their families, ensuring high standards of service delivery. The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and have experience in paediatric settings. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is one of the largest healthcare systems in the United Kingdom, employing approximately 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non-clinical professions and roles. We deliver acute hospital, primary, community and mental health services to a population of over 1.15 million people, and to a wider population of 2.2 million when regional and national services are included.
NHSGGC is responsible for the health care needs of all children, young people and their families within the board area. The paediatric occupational therapy service is part of the Specialist Childrens Services and provides highly specialist intervention for a total child population of approximately 268,000 (NHSGGC data 2011) 0-19 year olds within the Greater Glasgow and Clyde area. At present the occupational therapy service has an overall staffing establishment of 30.9 WTE.

From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 hours to 36 hours. Part-time working hours will be reduced on a pro-rata basis. A corresponding increase in the hourly rate will apply, ensuring that overall pay remains unchanged.
