Do you enjoy building scalable cloud-native applications with Python and modern frontend frameworks?

Role overview

We are looking for a Full Stack Python Developer to join one of our strategic digital programmes. You'll be working across backend and frontend systems, helping to scale and modernise applications running on GCP Kubernetes with Python (backend) and Agular (frontend)

Essential Skills/Experience

• Strong experience with Python backend development (APIs, microservices, application frameworks).
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks (Angular preferred).
• Experience working with cloud platforms (GCP preferred, AWS/Azure also relevant).
• Containerisation & orchestration: Kubernetes, Docker.
• Strong CICD exposure: GitHub, Terraform, automated pipelines.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases (e.g. Bigtable, Hive).
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban, or stream-aligned team models).

Nice to Have

• Experience with predictive analytics / big data processing.
• Familiarity with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence) and collaboration tools (Miro, Google Docs, Slack).
• Knowledge of test automation strategies and CICD quality control tooling.
• Previous experience contributing to communities of practice or technical talks.
