Job summary

A growing multi-entity organisation is seeking a Finance & Accounts Payable Officer to join their finance team. This hands-on role involves managing a high-volume invoice inbox, owning the creditors ledger, and processing employee expenses, along with month-end reconciliations and payroll support. Candidates should have 2-3 years of experience in an AP or finance role and strong Excel skills. The position offers a salary of £35,000 and a hybrid working arrangement with 3 days in the office.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years experience in an AP / Finance Assistant / Finance Officer role.
  • Strong Excel skills, confident handling data and reconciliations.
  • Comfortable working with volume, stakeholders, and deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Managing a high-volume invoice inbox across multiple entities and countries.
  • Full ownership of the creditors ledger, including supplier statements and invoice chasing.
  • Processing employee expenses and managing invoice approvals.
  • Preparing and running monthly payment runs.
  • Supporting month-end, balance sheet, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assisting with payroll processes, reporting, and audit queries.
