We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and reliableEngineer (Electrical | Traffic Signal) to join our Field Engineering Services Team based in Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Telford, Dudley and surrounding areas.

What you will do

The main purpose of this role is to maintain Traffic Signals/Signs and any other on road Intelligent Traffic Signal (ITS) equipment to our customer’s specifications.

You will also:

  • Ensuring all contractual obligations, terms and conditions are met.
  • Supporting the team in adhering to Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Reporting to the Supervisor and taking responsibility for maintaining and commissioning all aspects of the team portfolio.
  • Offering support to our customers around the clock – sometimes this may include overnight stays.
What we are looking for

To fulfil the role successfully the following are some of the key skills and experiences required:

  • Knowledge of traffic controllers / signs and equipment
  • GCSE’s in English, Maths & Sciences (or other relevant areas)
  • Sector 8 Accreditation.
  • Basic electrical knowledge, signal (electrical) installation and basic electrical theory.
  • Full driving licence (full and clean).
