A healthcare organization in the United Kingdom is looking for a proactive Finance Assistant to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will assist with daily accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and accurate financial records. You should have strong communication skills and experience in finance, especially accounts payable. AAT qualifications are preferred, along with the ability to work both independently and within a team. This position offers a salary range of £27,485 to £30,162 plus benefits.

To besuccessful in this role, you will be an ambitious team player with awillingness to learn and the ability to build rapport with both internal andexternal stakeholders.
You will beable to meet deadlines ensuring timely and accurate processing of payablesinvoices and creation of BACs payment files. A knowledge of the accountsledger and aged creditor process would be beneficial.

Within thisrole you will be responsible for day to day running of the Accounts Payableprocess.

There will be an opportunity to beinvolved in projects, development of processes and month end/annual accountspreparations supporting our Business Continuity process.
There is also an opportunity to workwith budget holders and be a contact for all our Suppliers including NHSpartners.

The post holder isresponsible for supporting the Financial Accountant in the day-to-day processesassociated with the maintenance of accounting records; the payment ofcreditors; and other key financial tasks and reconciliations.
They will also be required to ensure that accountingentries to the companys accounting system are reflected accurately in a timelymanner in accordance with laid-down timescales and financial procedures.
