Community Support Worker - Disability & Mental Health) - Ulverston

A market supplement is currently being applied to all night and weekend(Saturday and Sunday) shifts, uplifting your hourly rate in these periods to between approx. £18.25 - £18.53. This will replace any previous market supplements and will apply to both your contracted hours and to any additional hours worked within the applicable time periods.

Location: Ulverston

Contract Type: We have both Permanent and Fixed Term opportunities

Available Hours: 20.5 – 22.5 hours per week

Shifts may include earlies, evenings, weekends, sleeps and Bank Holidays

About this opportunity

As a Community Support Worker you will get the opportunity to know people individually and support their wellbeing through physical and emotional care. You may also assist with medication, providing personal care, and encouraging our people to achieve or maintain independence.

Supported Living empowers vulnerable adults, including people with learning disabilities or complex care needs, to access the personalised support they need to live independently in their own homes in the community. Staff work with individuals to build life skills and are led by the individuals’ interests and priorities.

DBS

This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974 and requires an enhanced DBS check with an Adults Barred List check.
