Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join the Agency Team. We are seeking a detail orientated person to become part of the team as an Agency Team Member who can step through our processes to ensure we meet the needs of our internal and external customers, support our offshore team members and meet quality assurance standards. The Agency Technician is a key role reporting to the Agency Team Leader. You’ll be responsible for performing the day-to-day processing activity of the core UK processes and act as a referral point for our offshore team members to ensure all Broker processes and systems meet the requirements of the wider business and regulatory bodies.

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You\'ll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing new broker appointments in line with regulatory requirements and broker controls.
  • Maintaining adequate broker records in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Performing appropriate quality and audit checks against agreed broker processes, protocols and IFC controls.
  • Support and maintain e-administration links to brokers (eServe, IMarket, eSettlement, Connect etc).
  • Control and maintain the AXAI Covernote system in line with broker controls.
  • Become a technical expert to oversee activities performed to ensure delivery of agreed service standards in line with best practise procedures.
  • Manage workflow in line with broker processes and to agreed SLA’s.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring excellent service is delivered whilst providing training and support.
  • Contribution to delivery of Broker/COO key priorities through personal alignment to agreed specific actions.

What you’ll bring:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills engaging with all areas of the business and brokers whilst also supporting our India function.
  • Proven experience in a professional service’s administrative role.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities working on caseloads and to agreed SLA’s to meet the needs of the end customer.
  • Strong attention to detail; sense and quality checking work and the work of others.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft and other commonly used software, PowerPoint, Word, Excel.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
