Job summary

A leading care provider in the UK is looking for a dedicated Support Worker to join their residential service in Mansfield. You'll provide person-centred support to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, helping them lead safe and fulfilling lives. What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker, you’ll help individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs live safe, fulfilled, and independent lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing person-centred support tailored to individual care plans
  • Administering medication, preparing meals, cleaning, and completing documentation
  • Offering emotional and practical support
  • Encouraging community inclusion by supporting access to local services and activities
  • Building strong, trusting relationships that promote independence and enhance quality of life
  • Supporting individuals to explore hobbies, develop new skills, and reach personal goals

  • Previous experience in the care sector, specifically supporting vulnruble adults with learning disabilities

  • Resilience and confidence in managing challenging behaviours
  • A team player mindset, with the ability to also work independently
