Working within ourHafren Dyfrdwy Visitor Experience Team, you’ll be the first point of contact ensuring we deliverhigh quality conservation, recreation and educationacross our three visitor sites –Lake Vyrnwy, Clywedog and Pendinas
We’re seeking someone who has an interest in maintaining areas,such as nature reservesand sites ofspecial scientific interest.And of course, it’s important you possess a natural passion for deliveringgreat customer service
We are also looking for someone that is comfortable usingsocial mediato engage with customers/visitors throughcreating engaging conversations and contentthat help our customers get information on our visitors’ centre.
You’ll knowFacebook, Twitter and Instagramwell and you’ll understand how to interact on those platforms.
The working hours for this role are typically 37 hrs per week between the hours of8:30-16:30 Monday - Saturday(of course this means you will get time off in the week on your scheduled Saturday)

We are looking for people that have experience in Customer Service, Ground maintenance, conservation, and Visitor management.
Event organising and being familiar with outdoor sports is important for this role such as fishing, cycling and walking as this is what a lot of visitors will be doing across the areas you will be helping to maintain.
Having the ability to work with a large range of different people is important such as volunteers, contractors and partners as this will vary day to day.
A health and safety management qualification as well as some practical qualification such as chainsaws, woodchippers and trailer towing would be great too.
You’ll also need to have a full UK driving license for this role as it does involve some travel to and from sites.
